About Me

Hi there! At the moment, I'm heading the product design team at Volano Software, a fantastic software company located in Omaha, Nebraska.

As a product designer (UI/UX), strategist, and mentor, I've spent a solid 12+ years honing my skills and guiding fellow designers, art directors, and front-end/back-end developers. My background in product strategy, design, and marketing allows me to blend business requirements with customer needs, crafting compelling stories in fresh and engaging ways.

I've had the privilege of working with amazing companies like TD Ameritrade, DakotaCare, DocuTAP, First National Bank of Omaha, CSPN, Bozell, and more, contributing my product expertise and UX/UI design.

On a personal note, I'm happily married to my lovely wife, Katie, and a proud dad to our three amazing kids, Miles, Theo, and Eloise (you can see their cute faces above). They've taught me the value of patience and continue to fill my days with heaps of love.

Speaking & Events

Over the years, I've enjoyed discussing user experience and product design with various audiences. Sharing my 14+ years of expertise with students and fellow professionals is truly rewarding. I've spoken at colleges and universities, design events, PechaKucha Nights, and even traveled across the US to chat with business leaders. Usually, I find that I learn just as much as they do.
